The Cooper-Atkins TTM41-10 Coolit-Rite 10-inch digital thermometer is used for monitoring the cooling time and temperature of food products in food service applications. It measures temperature from -4 to +302 degrees F (-20 to +150 degrees C), with an accuracy of + or - 2 degrees F (+ or - 1 degree C) from -4 to +212 degrees F (-20 to +100 degrees C), and + or - 3 degrees F (+ or - 2 degrees C) above 212 degrees F (100 degrees C). The 10-inch stainless steel stem has a minimal depth indicator 2 inches from the tip of the probe to help provide accurate internal temperature readings. A built-in, programmable timer tracks elapsed cooling time to help ensure that cooling processes meet Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points (HACCP) guidelines. When the temperature of a food product drops below 41 degrees F (5 degrees C), or when the programmed cooling time expires, the thermometer begins counting up and will hold the final temperature until cleared. The Minimum/Maximum temperature memory function stores high and low readings. The ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) plastic housing material has an anti-microbial additive to help deter bacterial growth. A stainless-steel vessel clip attaches to a food product container to hold the thermometer in place. The unit operates on a single 1.5V button battery.
